It’s about breaking down barriers and creating a supportive environment where all parents-to-be can embark on this life-changing experience with confidence and dignity. Here’s why disability accessibility in maternity services is crucial:

● Equal Access to Information: Inclusive maternity services ensure that all expectant parents have access to comprehensive information about their pregnancy, birthing options, and postnatal care. This enables them to make informed decisions and actively participate in their care.

● Customised Support: Disabilities vary widely, and so do the needs of expectant parents. disAbility accessibility in maternity services recognises this diversity and offers tailored support to address individual requirements, whether it’s physical accommodations, communication assistance, or emotional support.

Our disability accessibility in maternity services empowers individuals to make choices about their care, birthing plans, and the involvement of support networks, respecting their preferences and wishes.
