Welcome to the disAbility Maternity Care’s Products and Services policy. By using this website you acknowledge you have read and understood these terms and conditions, and agree with them as stated below. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not use this website.
We endeavour to provide high quality products and services through our website and organisation. If you are not satisfied with a product or service you have purchased, please see our policy below regarding returns, refunds or cancellations.
Payments, Cancellation and Refunds
disAbility Maternity Care uses a payment gateway from an experienced provider of payment services. disAbility Maternity Care disclaims any liabilities occurring as a result of using this payment service, or difficulties that arise during the payment process.
In purchasing goods from disAbility Maternity Care, you are covered by the Australian consumer protection laws (see https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-rights-guarantees). In cases where goods are defective you may receive a refund or replacement of that specific product. You will not be refunded if you change your mind.
This site contains affiliate links to products reviewed. We may receive a commission for purchases made through these links. However, this does not affect our review of those products as we only review products on this site which we believe add value to our consumers experience. The opinions expressed in reviews are our own.
Any purchaser of products, events or services through this website is made with disAbility Maternity Care or it’s associated businesses. Full payment must be made before any purchased goods are sent, or event registration is confirmed. You will receive a confirmation of your order, followed by a receipt for payment to your nominated email address.
We endeavour to hold events as they are scheduled. If due to unforeseen events, we have to cancel on the original date, we will try and re-schedule the event. However, if you are unable to participate in the re-scheduled event you will be refunded in full.
If you are unable to attend an event, you may nominate someone else to attend in your place or may cancel from the event providing 7 days notice is given. If you are unable to attend and wish to be refunded, you must notify disAbility Maternity Care in writing at least 7 days prior to the event. Where cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event, you will not be refunded.
We ship orders using the Australian Postal service both within Australia and internationally. Orders are shipped on Tuesdays and Fridays. With current Covid19 restrictions in place, shipping may take longer than normal. If you do not receive your order within 1 month of placing your order, please check with your local post office first, prior to contacting us.
For international orders, please be aware that sales tax, GST or custom fees may be applicable, for which disAbility Maternity Care is not responsible for payment.
If we have insufficient stock to fill your purchase order, we will notify you as soon as possible. Stock items will be back ordered and sent to you when they arrive to us. You will not be charged for goods until they are despatched from us to you.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Book with obvious signs of use
* CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due
to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically
be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order
shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
